Ts'uan Pao-tzu Stele

The Ts'uan clan were an ethnic group of South-west China. They still enjoyed hereditary noble status during the Eastern Chin dynasty. This stele was made for Ts'uan Pao-tzu who died at the age of twenty-three. The blend of clerical and standard structure and style in its characters is unique. The original stele is now kept at the Wu-hou Shrine of Ch'ü-ching County, Yunnan Province.
